Then I took the top cover off the plastic housing it has a micro switch for the magnetic float this is where the damage is it was corroded and water was inside I sprayed some electrical cleaner in it and turned it upside this is when water ran out. I took the pump apart the cord wasn,t pulled out of the clamp that holds it. The pump looks new no fading you can read all the original numbers and letters.
